So, it's Friday and - of course - a new dog has joined us!! Please welcome Eddie (Van Halen...). Eddie is actually Rose's brother; he was adopted almost immediately from the shelter by a family who had come in to look at kittens. Yes, you can see where this is going. The family decided (after shaving him) that they were not prepared to live with a large dog and returned him. He again was adopted immediately by a home with a very lethargic Newfie, and the home found him too energetic. The wife wasn't comfortable walking him because he wanted to play with every dog they encountered on their walks, so he was returned.
So the shelter asked us if we would take him, and here he is! Eddie is about 2 years old and is in southern Virginia.
